Product Description

Third in the series of films that began with 'Sword of Vengeance' and 'Babycart at the River Styx'. Ogami Itto - otherwise known as the Lone Wolf - provides a rare display of compassion when he rescues a young girl from her pimp. On the road again, the Wolf finds his services in demand, as he and the child Diagoro - the Cub - travel a violent path to Hades.

The third film in the infamous Lone Wolf and Cub series is perhaps one of the best. From the honorable duel between the disillusioned samurai to the glorious battle scene in which Ogami Itto takes on one hundred warriors, the film never disappoints. If you love martial arts and samurai films then you'll love this. Wakayama Tomisaburo is one of the greatest film-swordsman ever. You should buy this film for that reason only.

5.0 out of 5 stars Splendid. 26 Oct 2000

Format:VHS Tape
This is a violent, but truely beautiful film. Anyone with an interest in historical Japan or the Samurai should purchase

5.0 out of 5 stars Box Set. 9 July 2008
By Perkins
Format:DVD
This is an excellent TV series, not as bloody as the films but it is more faithful to the original Manga books.
My biggest criticism is that Media Blasters are only putting two episodes per disc. Apart from the cost, that's an AWFUL lot of DVD's taking up shelf space.
The good news is that there will be a box set, the bad news is it could be some time coming.
Even though I have bought the first two releases (and enjoyed them enormously) I think I'll wait for the Box Set.
