We purchased this gate as the opening we needed it for was 117cm - reading the description we were led to believe that the 2 extensions would increase the width to fit up to 120cm. However, upon attempting the install the gate it became clear that the extensions included (x2) are only for a maximum width of 93cm - therefore further extensions are still required. Please bear this in mind before you purchase.

I have found this gate to be absolutely brilliant after buying several Lindham gates which were useless due to the lack of range of top and bottom adjustment. The reason the gates are good is they are very simple to put up in literally minutes, easy to open with a positve click close mechanism and as the description says you can easily fit it correctly with the pressure indicators. But far and away the best thing about this gate which others fail on is the adjustability of the top and bottom fittings which are very extensive from about 3cm-10cm (up to about 20cm in the case of the Y-spindles mentioned below) top and bottom each side meaning the gate can be fitted where you have a wide skirting board to accommodate or uneven walls etc. Also this is one of the only gates you can buy with Y-spindle attachments to attach the gate on one or both sides (just the top, bottom or both) to a stair rod (the spindle will accommodate stair rods up to a couple of inches in diameter). Overall all you could reasonably ask for in a gate with easily available side extendensions too.

This gate was bought to stop two boistrous pups from going upstairs, and it did the trick! Very easy to fit to staircase, taking only minutes. A perfect fit was achieved by adjusting the side pressure screws. The gate has been in use for a month, and working well. Easy to open and close and very nice looking.
