We have two of these & we joined them both together - best idea ever! There is more than enough room for our (now 15 month) son to safely toddle around. We have a travel cot too but these playpens are so much better as your kid can see out more easily & they aren't raised off the ground. These playpens do take a while to dismantle so I wouldn't recommend one if you want to put it away in the evenings / move it about a lot; that said they are very sturdy & secure. Ours are white which blends in much better that the black or gray ones which, in my humble opinion look like baby prisons! All in all I would definitely recommend this product

to actually put it together it is very awkward, especially if you have arthritic hands, as you have to lift and hold, but Grans, have to do this sometimes. Also useful in two half to keep the dog out the room across doors, when granson crawling around.
