I just upgraded to this from the Active Carrier and I'm really impressed.
Unlike the Active, the Comfort comes in one piece, so you just slip it over your head and put your arms through. You put your baby in with the side straps loose, clip on the two front bib press studs then pull the two side pieces to the right tightness.
It has all the benefits of the active and you can use it for even longer by facing baby (or toddler by that weight!) inwards against your chest and zipping up the base section so their legs grip your waist. I find this a lot easier than having my wriggly little one propped on the hip seat. My first one would sit there nicely but my second needs a bit more holding in.
There's only one slight moan I have. The comfort comes with one cover bib for the front section which is great. But here's the problem - you can't buy any more bibs. I phoned baby bjorn uk and they said because the comfort is so new they aren't selling the cover bibs separately because they're worried people with the active and original bjorns will buy the wrong size bib by mistake! There are definitely no plans to sell them separately in 2010! Boo!
I still give it 5 stars though for being really excellent and I would say well worth the high price tag because you'll get so much use out of it, from baby right to large toddler.

This sling is fantastic for the back and shoulders - very ergonomic - I have a weak back and have never been able carry my baby in the classic baby bjorn for more than a few minutes without getting sore but the comfort carrier is excellently designed to ease the pressure off shoulders and back. I can easily carry my baby (who is almost 12 months and around 10kg)for almost 2 hours. however, to get the baby in and out one needs to left him really high in the air - in fact i never manage to lift him out without twisting him about and struggling with his feet one by one, usually to the accompaniment of his shrill protests! this is particularly annoying if the baby has gone to sleep in the sling - it's impossible to get him out without waking him up and making him cry... very disappointed with this feature as the sling is really excellent for my back..

I really like this baby carrier and loved its high quality material(100% organic cotton!). Previously I bought a few other baby carriers from other brands(more simple version & sling type) which were much cheaper than this but they were all useless,unstable and wasn't suitable for long distance walking.
I shouldn't have spent money for those but only this product. And while he was 0-3mnths old, I should have bought Baby bjorn original carrier or synagy.(This Comfort carrier suits from 3mnths plus.)
With this BabyBjorn Comfort Carrier, I can carry my 6mth old baby safe and comfortable without worrying that he falling off from the carrier and he likes this,too. Also both my hands can be free,fantastic.Waist belt works effectively and this belt somehow makes me look slimmer. I especially liked the adjustable leg position(wide or normal), although I always put it wide with facing me for my son, as he gets bigger and bigger,normal position seems too narrow and it's like hanging.My son started using this product from 4mth old and this wide leg position already suit him.
And other thing I liked is that puting him in and out was quite easy, without raising him higher in the air.Only thing I don't like was that once you wear the carrier, the back adjuster need to be done by somebodyelse.Or you need to prepare it before you put baby in ;-). And I wish there was more colour variations like BabyBjorn original carrier.
But all in all, very good product and I recommend this!
