Children love rocking! Whilst rocking, a child experiences rhythms and movements that are both fun and soothing. Our first Babysitter Balance was launched in 1961 (it was actually the Babysitter that started BabyBjorn back in 1961) and through the years it has become one of our most beloved products.
The BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance transforms your child’s movements into a soothing, rocking motion that’s fun too. The bouncer helps develop your child’s balance and motor skills while keeping your hands free. No batteries are needed. Your child sets the pace. It’s fun and soothing at the same time.
Multiple colour options created by the reversible fabric and harness.
From newborn to approximately two years
From newborn to approximately two years (3,5 – 13kg, 8 – 29lbs). The BabyBjorn Babysitter is equipped with a removable safety harness. During the first months and up until the child can sit up and walk on his/her own, the safety harness should always be on. When your child can sit up and walk on his/her own, the safety harness should be removed completely. Since the safety harness can be removed, allowing older children to get in and out on his/her own, the BabyBjorn Babysitter can be used for children up until the age of two (maximum weight 13kg or 29lbs).

Three different positions: play, rest and sleep
The BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance has three positions: play, rest and sleep. It can also be folded to make it compact and easy to transport, this also makes packing or storing, when not in use, simple.

Babysitter Balance folds to a compact size, making it portable and easy to store.
Age From newborn to approximately 2 years of age (8-29 lbs/3.5-13 kg).
Materials The fabric is 60% cotton and 40% polyester.
The textiles closest to the child have been tested and approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby products. These are guaranteed harmless to children’s sensitive skin and will not trigger allergies.
Product care The fabric is easy to take off and machine wash, warm (40 °C).
Safety BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance meets the safety requirements of EN 12790:2009.

I recently purchased the bouncer for my 2 month old baby boy. The strong points of the chair are that the material is of good quality, it is reversable, it has 3 different height settings and it folds down flat for storage or transportation. The downside is that it doesnt bounce anything like the video advertisment infact it bearly moves at all when my baby is moving in the chair, I still have to rock it with my foot as I would with a far cheaper bouncer chair. In my opinion the chair is greatly overpriced compared to other bouncers available and as far as lasting till the age of 2...my friends 11 month old boy filled the chair completely!

Top quality bouncer, but it does come at a price.
Got ours from Amazon on a special offer so that helped(have twins so needed two!) Compared to the budget bouncers we got from a recognised super market, the BabyBjorn is far superior, easier to use and appears much more comfortable.
Babies have used it everyday since they were few weeks old and now they're 5months still happy to hang out in theirBabyBjorns.
If you can offered this, would certainly recommend

My boy loves it and it keeps him happy for a precious few minutes while I do a job or two. So easy to transport too and easy to wash.
