The BabyBjorn Baby Carrier Active is a sturdy baby carrier with an adjustable back support that provides comfortable support for the lumbar region and helps take the weight off the shoulders. As with all BabyBjorn baby carriers, it has been developed in collaboration with medical experts to produce an optimal carrier for newborns up to 15 months.

The BabyBjorn Baby Carrier Active can be used from birth, facing you to provide essential closeness between parent and newborn.

Once your baby’s neck is strong enough to support their own head, the BabyBjorn Baby Carrier Active can be used forward-facing.

Fits baby perfectly from day one--all the way to approximately 15 months

BabyBjorn Baby Carrier Active is designed to fit your newborn from day one (minimum 3,5kg or 8bls) all the way to approximately 15 months (maximum 12kg or 26lbs) without the need for an extra insert. The baby carrier Active has an ergonomic design that provides the correct support for your child’s head, back and hips from birth. We recommend carrying your newborn close to your heart - high up on your chest and facing you – providing that essential closeness while at the same time allowing supervision of baby’s breathing.

The best of two worlds

Once your child’s neck is strong enough to support the head and he or she is ready to meet the world, you can carry your child facing forward – in secure contact with you all the time. Meeting an exciting world with one’s back resting safely against Mum or Dad’s chest is a great source of delight for most little ones. Quite simply the best of two worlds!

Provides back stability

The lumbar support is adjustable to fit everyone perfectly, providing comfortable back stability. The back support and the wide shoulder straps work together to provide carrying comfort and help relieve pressure from back and shoulders.

Safe and user-friendly

The BabyBjorn baby carrier Active has been designed to allow you to carry your child safely and close to you while, at the same time, being easy to use. The baby carrier is simple to put on and take off without assistance and all the adjustments can easily be made from the front. The front piece can, furthermore, be opened entirely so that you can lift out your sleeping child without waking him or her.

The textiles closest to the child have been tested and approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby products. These are guaranteed harmless to children’s sensitive skin and will not trigger allergies.

Age: From newborn (at least 8 lbs/3.5 kg) up to 26 lbs/12 kg.

Safety: BabyBjorn Baby Carrier Miracle meets the safety requirements of EN 13209-2:2005.

Product care: Machine wash, warm (40°C). Wash separately with a gentle, bleach-free detergent.

The BabyBjorn Baby Carrier Active provides extra lower back support, taking the weight off the shoulders.
