4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth having 20 Aug 2009
By S Groom
You don't see this attachment for sale in many places and I'm the only person I know to have bought it. It's a little more expensive than some of the bars for chairs but my son has found this engaging the whole of his three long months.

The bar has wooden toys (with safe paints as with all Baby Bjorn products) that spin when the baby bats them. There are two flowers, a large wooden disc in the middle with separately spinning eyes within it and several small balls between them.

Good points:
- It attaches to the Baby Bjorn Babysitter very easily and doesn't slip. I can't comment how it might fit on other seats.
- I thought my son would eventually tire of it as it looks very simple. However, the flower petals are at an angle making them the easiest toys to touch when babies start being able to reach out. The middle toy is the hardest and my son hasn't worked out how to spin the eyes in it yet, but he looks at them with great concentration!
- It's quality construction with simple shapes. Babies can't hurt themselves and it's long lasting.
- Easily cleanes, if like my son your baby decides to sneeze sick!

Down point:
- The only one I can think of is that it doesn't seem as if it would be compatible with other seats, car seats, buggies, etc.

I have no regrets buying this and think it's a lovely addition to a great baby seat.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a must have to go with the seat 18 Aug 2012

This should come as standard with the seat. It's essential. My 12 week old sits and spins the toys for ages without getting bored, whereas in the seat with nothing to do he will start to cry. Overprice, yes... essential purchase, yes!

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice 15 April 2012
This attachment is doing just enough. It is quite basic but solid. It would have been nice if they developed something more fun for the kids or extras to complement it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely toy 8 Feb 2012
Before buying this, I was concerned that it was overpriced and expensive, but decided to treat my baby as he seemed to get bored in the chair after a few minutes. On receiving the toy, I saw that the quality was very good and now feel that this is good value being a durable wooden toy that has given a lot of pleasure to our three month old. It is the first toy he has been able to reach and move and he spends ages spinning the beads, flowers, face and eyes. The flowers and eyes are angled so that the perspective changes when they are moved; it is a well-thought out design of a toy which I was only able to appreciate once I had seen it in action. The beads make a gentle clicking noise which is so much nicer than the artificial electronic noises produced by so many baby toys! Definitely recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars expensive but worth it 27 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase
Not sure why this is so expensive, but it is very well made and has kept our now 5-month old VERY entertained since she was first in her bouncer at around 1 month - so it's definitely worth it. It will often entertain her for JUST as long as it takes to make dinner. We have no idea what the round thing with eyes in the middle is meant to be, but our baby loves it - we now call it mr biscuit.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good quality and simple 1 Sep 2009
Although pricey and something which should come as standard considering the price of the chair, I am pleased that I bought this. This was the first toy that our 3 month old touched and played with so was an amazing moment. Have to say that she doesnt get over excited by it now (a month later)but is a simple and good quality toy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Expensive but essential 24 Jun 2012
The bouncer that you probably already own, is very expensive. It looks great but you need a toy for it, you look at some generic ones but they look rubbish. Soooo you shell out again for this over priced but very smart well made toy.
If you paid out for the bouncer, cough up for the toy. They sell well on e bay when your done too.

Good quality, interesting design. Works with other BabyBjorn baby accessories. Material is something between wood and plastic. Really do not know what is made from :)
