So many times you buy a baby product that isn't quite right or that baby doesn't find comfortable. But these actually work. They fit comfortably on our 7 month old son (he weighs about 8lb 8oz to give you an idea of his size). We introduced them to him by holding the lenses in front of his eyes when he was indoors and making a bit of a game of it. Then the next time we were outside in the sunshine we put them on and he happily leaves them in place. And yes, he does look cool in them.

Difficult to comment on effectiveness as our 13 month old won't tolerate having the sunglasses put on him.

Maybe it's just how my son (8 months old) is, but he doesn't like wearing hats or caps very much, so sunglasses were mission impossible to make him keep on. A real pity as these sunglasses are extra cute ! But we decided to go for external sun protection gear, such as an umbrella and a hat (acknowledging we would pick up the latter often).
