We were bought this book as a present and it's fantastic! The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The authors have added some lovely touches of humour. We would highly recommend this book either to new parents or as a present for new or soon-to-be parents.

Have not had reason to buy this for myself or use in anger, but was very well received by the gift recipients. Initially bought in jest, was pleasantly surprised at the amount of practical help it contained. However, I would ensure that the recipients contain a sense of humour if buying this as a gift.

As a midwife I was always being asked to show parents how to swaddle their babies so they don't wriggle free (which the little darlings will do if you don't get it right), swaddling makes the baby feel more secure and can help them settle better. This book is great as it shows some different techniques and has some really cute pictures, the instructions are easy to follow and the photography is great. Not all techniques shown are practical, I cant imagine many parents using the emergency paper bag wrap but you never know!I think this book makes a really great gift, I bought this as a gift for a new mum as it's a bit different to the usual clothes etc. and is perfect if giving a shawl or baby wrap as a gift, in addition I would also recommend it to new parents or parents-to-be wanting to find out how to wrap their little bundles of joy. x
