The exercise can be done at any time and any location and can be very useful calming down a fractious baby. Baby Yoga will be broadcast weekly on SKY Body In Balance, channel 275 from May 1st. DVD Inlcudes: 85 minutes of Yoga practices for you & your baby: DVD is split into five easy to follow sessions. Fist session is for babies from birth onwards. Subsequent segments develop and build on this foundation, with the final session showing how the techniques can be applied to an 18 month old child. Each session is completed with a set of relaxation exercises that rejuvenate you, whilst often sending your baby off to sleep.
About the Actor
Baby Yoga has been developed by the highly acclaimed yoga instructor Dr. Francoise Barbira Freedman a medical anthropologist at Cambridge University, founder of Birhtlight and mother of four. Dr Freedman lectures in midwifery and women's health for the NHS and is the founder of Birthlight, a UK based charitable trust that is dedicated to promoting a sensitive approach to pregnancy, birth and babies. Baby Yoga has been approved by paediatricians, doctors and midwives. Dr Freedman and other Birthlight teachers often features in mother and baby magazines, with recent articles appearing in Yoga Journal and Mother Magazine.

This is a fantastic dvd, which really show new mums (or dads) how to build a gentle yoga practice at home with their babies. Step by step a range of movements are introduced to the great delight of the babies. The instructions and the demonstrations are very clear and detailed. Great tips on how to keep both you and your baby relaxed and happy.

it's nice but there's too much talking. the good thing is that i watch it first, learned the exercises ( which are very few) and then did it with my baby who enjoyed it very much. would'nt buy it. wish there were more dvd's to choose from.

Lots of chat, about 5 yoga moves that take an hour to get to and then that's it. I don't recommend it at all. Very disappointing indeed.
