"Bedtime!" said the Mother.
"NO!" said the Baby.
The Baby wants to stay up all night, so he revs up his car and sets off on an adventure. Before long, he finds himself all alone in a sleepy land. But there is someone else who's not asleep... someone who loves the Baby very much.
A magical book whose soft yet sparkling artwork perfectly captures the twilight world of a small child, determined not to go to sleep.

Gorgeous,
By Nicole (Leeds, England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Baby Who Wouldn't Go To Bed (Paperback)
After borrowing this from the library, my 3 year old son would search high and low for it every time we subsequently visited, so I finally bought him his own copy. He adores this book - the illustrations are beautiful (he particularly loves the train), and, as other reviewers have commented, the story lends itself very well to snuggly bedtime reading!

The perfect bedtime book,
By Annie (Wales, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Baby Who Wouldn't Go To Bed (Paperback)
This has to be the most perfect bedtime story ever written for very little ones. The illustrations are gorgeous, the text is wonderfully calming and it's like a big, warm, sleepy cuddle. Helen Cooper at her best!

An excellent story well illustrated for ages 2 and up,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Baby Who Wouldn't Go to Bed (Hardcover)
Outstanding illustrations combined with a lovely story make this book ideal for young children. An excellent bedtime read, it tells about a little boy who wouldn't go to bed and met all sorts of people in an imaginative bedtime world with absolutely gorgeous illustrations to back up the story. One to make bedtime easier.
