This first year record book is beautifully illustrated and laid out, with all the relevant spaces to record the facts about your baby's arrival and development. Lots of space for photos and and other mementos and well thought-through prompts to remind you to write down key facts that will be entertaining later on. Get the book before your baby is born, though, as a lot of it refers to the first few weeks of the baby's life, the details of which you won't remember after 6 months!

This book is ideal to record your baby's first movements but the pages are glossy and you need the right pen to write in it. I recommend those gold/silver Pentel ones. What I really missed from this book is the lack of pages left for putting pictures in it. My babybook has a section for photographs and this one really only is there for keeping records. It's a nice book, but I've seen better at £10.
