Book Description

Rule One: Don't Let Him In

When photographer Nick Coltrane saunters into Daisy Parker's office, all she sees is the man who broke her heart nine years ago. Never mind that he wants to hire her as his bodyguard--ah, security specialist--or that her fledgling company desperately needs the cash flow. She'd once broken her own rules, only to watch his sexy self go running for the door. Providing round-the-clock protection for him now is out of the question ... right?

Rule Two: Always Be Able To Walk Away

Nick needs Daisy around to keep the hired thugs that are out for his blood from actually getting it. If he can make amends for the way he screwed up nine years ago in the process, then so much the better. Except time has done nothing to dull the memory of how Daisy once rocked his world off its axis and her cocky attitude and mouthwatering curves still have the power to turn his brain to mush. Well, that doesn't mean Nick can't handle living hand-in-glove with the one woman he's been obsessed with for years. Yeah. Sure he can.

Some Rules Were Made To be Broken

In the city by the bay, two people who once were friends and used to be lovers will discover if love and trust can come from a passion that breaks every rule.

5.0 out of 5 stars as good as the other baby's 14 July 2007
Format:Mass Market Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
as my title states, i believe that this book was just as good as be my baby and baby im yours. both characters are extremely likable and the chemistry is sizzling. i dare you not to fall in love with the hero. rather than just boy meets girl, instant attraction, this time this has a backstory which adds an interesting history. the barest minimum is that on the night of the hero's, (Nick Coltrane), sister's wedding he and his former stepsister Daisy Parker sleep together. Nick behaves horribly afterwards and Daisy doesn't know why because she believes she is in love with him and vice versa. she is nineteen at the time. our story begins nine years later. Daisy is now running a Security Specialists Firm, (bodyguarding)and suprises of suprises Nick shows up needing guarding. i thought that that was an empowered original way of thinking as it is almost always the other way around. as the story progresses we also learn why Nick reacted the way he did on the night he and Daisy slept together. in short, its witty, sizzling and so loveable that it could curl your toes. A must read!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars easy romance 26 Aug 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is a easy romance, a great read if you are looking for a love story with a hint of danger. It's nice to read about Daisy, a bodyguard, in the protecting role and taking charge when dangerous situations arise. Despite this Nick still has the urge to protect her from the danger he is in, even though he employed her to be his bodyguard!

2.0 out of 5 stars Baby, Don't Go Review 20 Oct 2009
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Daisy is reluctant to take on her newest client - bodyguarding ex lover, Nick. But the more time they spend together, the more the sparks begin to fly. But his secret may end up tearing them apart...

I found it difficult to like or sympathise with the characters, which for me made it a difficult read. Apart from that, the storyline was okay and well written
