I really like this book, it has lots of interesting projects and does not exclusively stick to clothing patterns - frankly there are plenty of around.
I like the fact that there are toys & household items included in this book, it makes for a more diverse collection.
I think that many of the designs can be combined using one aspect of a pattern with another to create even more interesting projects.
I love the gift card & wrapping idea at the end of the book, its really unusual !!

stripy cat
bibs
wrap cardigan
coat hangers

Unlike the pp I had had a sneak preview of this book so I knew what to expect. I wanted something exactly like this so I could make small presents and pretty embellishments for them. I DO think that it's title is slightly misleading as there are projects for older children in here too - for example the crochet pen pot, or the cushion and blanket . I think there is a lovely selection of things in this book to crochet as well as garments so I would recommend it strongly!

I was really looking forward to getting this book and it is a crashing dissappointment!! There are only a couple of clothing items and some quite cute baby booties but all the other designs are little nick nacks that leave a lot to be desired! Variations on a repetative theme,'pink for girls and blue for boys'I am thoroughly dissappointed with this book, It does not live up to the expectations set by other Rowan books!!I am actually returning it and I would rarely do that with a knitting/crochet book as there's usually at least two or three items worth having the book for, not in this case!!
