These sumptuous and super soft padded play mats, manufactured in a cotton-rich terry fabric offer baby a soft and thick padded play mat for the floor. Offering newborns a lovely soft place to sleep and kick about, they also provide a soft landing area for babies on the move.
Available in an oblong shape and a larger square format, this square mat measures 100cm x 100cm and is manufactured in 80% cotton with a small 20% polyester element to prevent shrinkage when washing.

This is the first review I have ever given on Amazon. As no-one else had reviewed this item I felt that it was only fair that it received the appreciation that it deserves. The mat is absolutely perfect for my needs. I wanted something to put underneath the Fisher Price Rainforest Baby Gym that I had previously purchased, to provide more padding as the gym mat is a bit thin for my liking. The Baby Boum Padded Play Mat is excellent! It is very well padded indeed, is a great size and washed really well! The green coloured edge is raised and therefore provides additional padding and security. I put the item in the wash as soon as I received it and it has washed lovely. It took a while to dry but that was to be expected as it is soo thick! The material is not quite as soft as I would have liked but I will be happy for my baby to play on it whether it be under the gym mat for extra padding or on it's own. Can't wait for baby to enjoy it! Amazon provided an excellent service as always - no problems at all. Thank you.
Love this mat, so soft and cushioney! Lovely bright colour, just what babies need. I now have somewhere very soft to lay my 5 month old so he can roll about and play with his toys. Have wood floors at home so have been looking for something just like this. Was a little worried about the estimated delivery for this as when i ordered this it said dispatched within 3-5 months, i intended to order it and then if i found one in the shops i liked i was going to cancel if it hadnt arrived. Thankfully amazon emailed me to say that it would be delivered alot earlier than expected, it has just arrived and i only ordered this on the 28th Jan. Very happy indeed!! My baby will be very happy too!
