About the Author

Sam Williams has written and illustrated many children's books. For Macmillan, he has illustrated a series of Buggy Buddies (0 333 90246 7, 0 333 90247 5, 0 333 90248 3, 0 333 90249 1) as well as COLD LITTLE DUCK, DUCK, DUCK (0 333 96055 6), published in paperback in March 2002. He lives with his wife and three children in Hertfordshire.

I got this book out of the library at first but just had to buy my own copy. It is funny, apt and beautifully illustrated, and actually brought tears to my eyes, as it was so poignant at the end. My son loved it too (he is 2),and was required bedtime reading.
