How to use the Waving Wand

Styling your hair with the Waving Wand is easier than you might think. First, section your hair evenly and comb it through. Then, while wearing the heat protective glove, wrap a section of your hair around the oval shaped barrel, all the way to the cool tip at the top of the Waving Wand. Hold the section of hair in place at the cool tip for 5 to 8 seconds, depending on your hair type. Then unwind the hair to reveal beautiful waves that look and flow naturally, without any kinks.

Styling tips for the Waving Wand

For tighter waves, use smaller sections of hair and start wrapping the hair around the barrel close to the root. For looser waves, use larger sections of hair and start wrapping the hair around the barrel lower down the hair length. To set each curl, do not comb or brush hair until it cools. Repeat this process as often as necessary to get the look you’re after. Always allow the Waving Wand to cool before storing.

Whether you have thick hair or thin hair, you can find the perfect heat for your hair with available temperatures of 140˚C, 155˚C, 170˚C, 185˚C and 200˚C. If you have delicate, fine or coloured hair, use the lower heat settings. For thicker hair, use the higher heat settings.

For extra control and safety when styling, the Waving Wand has a cool tip at the end of the ceramic coated barrel that never heats up. Along with this safety feature, it comes with a heat protective glove for easy handling.
