This is the last BTO album with Randy Bachman playing on it and can say its a cracker of an album very loud and full of wonderful hard driving songs.If you like the sound of BTO you will really enjoy this album,please check out Randys solo album Any Road its a cracker as well full of great songs from this highly talented guitarist song writer.Buy them both you will really enjoy;

this cd is quite good but the songs are not as good as the songs from their heyday if your an old fan of the band your probadly still like it not a bad album at all well worth buying if you really like your 70,s rock bands.

IF YOU ARE A BTO FAN , YOU HAVE TO GET THIS CD. I REMEMBER WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT AS AN LP IN 1984 AND I LOVED IT THEN. EVENTHOUGH IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL BTO LINE UP (GARRY PETERSON IS ON DRUMS AS OPPOSED TO ROBBIE BACHMAN) IT IS GREAT BTO ROCK AND ROLL. THE FOUNDER OF THE BAND, RANDY BACHMAN IS IN GREAT GUITAR FORM IN SONGS LIKE 'JUST LOOK AT ME NOW' AND 'CITY STILL GROWIN" AND HIS WORK IS VERY MUCH MISSED IN THE CURRENT LINE UP OF BTO, ESPECIALLY IN PRODUCTION. BUT THIS IMPORT IS A FINE EXAMPLE OF BTO AND THE GREAT VOCALS OF C.F. TURNER ARE OUTSTANDING. IF YOU ARE NEW TO BTO YOU MIGHT WAT TO CHECK OUT SOME OF THE CLASSIC CD'S FIRST, THEN MOVE ON TO THIS ONE. ITS IS GREAT BTO ROCK AND ROLL. ALSO, THE FIRST SINGLE RELEASED FROM THE ALBUM IN 1984 WAS "FOR THE WEEKEND" FOR WHICH A VIDEO WAS SHOT. I THINK ANY BTO FAN OLD OR NEW WILL ENJOY THIS ONE.

The classic sound of BTO

I purchased this selection a few years ago, not realizing until now it was an import. All the components for a great BTO cd is there: heavy guitar; powerfull bass and drums; and the deep, gravelly vocals. A couple of the tracks show influence of the rock and roll style from the mid to late 1980's, but it's still solid BTO. Worth purchasing? Definately. Worth the "import" price? If you are a BTO fan, yes. If you are "investigating" BTO, purchase one of the classics first, so you can follow the evolution of their music style.

Takes you back to the good times of 1973-75.
"Another Fool" is classic BTO. Buy it for that track alone !
