This is exactly what we have needed for the BTEC. It follows the specification exatly and allows pupils to work towards their criteria independently. good ideas, resources, tips and how to plan the assignments. Useful to teachers and pupils alike. clear layout. anyone who has struggled with the BTEC in the past needs this book. thanks
As a Science teacher, I have taught BTEC Applied Science for the past 5 or 6 years. This textbook and the matching book 2 are much more useful than the 'Knowledge Books' provided by EdExcel.
The only drawback is that this book only covers the compulsory units (units 1, 2 + 3). If it covered the optional units as well it would easily be the best resource for this course.
