Here we have what is supposed to be a review of the 2013 BTCC season.
Generally a review would be expected to summarise the subject matter in question, providing context to the events and maintaining an overall narrative.
However, there has been a growing trend in these DVDs over the last few years of increasing length and poorer editing. From the concise, tightly edited BHP reviews of the 90s where the coverage made the racing seem even more exciting than it was we now have reviews of nearly EIGHT hours long, consisting solely of the ITV BTCC highlights programmes stuck back-to-back, without any effort to correct mistakes, reflect changes in results which occurred after original transmission, or even provide a coherent narrative of the season.
Simply copy and pasting the ITV highlights back-to-back to make an 8 hour DVD isn't good enough. A proper season review is one that should be viewable in one sitting. These days they clearly aren't. Go back and look at the BHP videos from the 90s Duke, and sort this out!
