The features I particularly like are :-
the 250 Name & Number Directory
Sim Card Reader & Writer
Blue Backlit Display
Text Messaging
The features this phone does not have, but I did not want, are:-
coloured display
internet phoning
The negatives I did not realize it had :-
The phone book is in the handset not the base station. You can have completely different entries and ring tones in each handset. You can copy individual numbers, or the whole phone book, to another handset or a sim card. This all sounds good if that is what you want. But if you want identical phone book entries in each handset, every time you add an entry to one handset you have to copy it to the other handsets. To copy from handset to handset you must press keys on both hand sets, so you must have both handsets together.
The hands free speaker is really the ear piece with a higher volume. If you have the ear piece volume high for normal use switching to hands free to listen to piped music from a call center results in terrible distorted music.
Apart from these two minor irritations I like the size, shape & look of the handsets.
A follow up to this review. The handsfree speaker is NOT the earpiece but a separate speaker on the back of the handset. What I did not realise was that the poor quality of the handsfree speaker was that it was faulty and on the way out. It failed completely after 3 months use. After a faulse start being diverted by Amazon to BT to try and get a replacement handset, Amazon replaced the whole unit with a new set. They even returned the 75 pence recorded delivery charge when I returned the faulty units.
