The BT Synergy 6500 quad pack is a high specification and stylish addition to the premium quality range of BT cordless DECT phones. Boasting a Titanium & Silver design, this telephone will look the part in even the most sophisticated of environments. It is compatible with ordinary telephone lines or even an analogue extension on a telephone system, making it ideal for the home or office. The handsets embody a 4 line colour display screen. The matching base station compliments the sophisticated design of the handsets and includes a handy control panel with message indicator.
The BT Synergy 6500 quad pack has an integrated digital answering machine that records for up to 30 minutes and is fully operable through either the handsets or the base station. With its 30 minute digital recording time this phone has a huge capacity for storing voicemail messages of incoming calls. Messages can be played back on the base station or the handsets and can be remotely retrieved from an external phone using the remote playback feature. The base station includes a message indicator that displays when new messages are left.
The BT Synergy 6500 quad pack is energy efficient compared to many comparable cordless phones and delivers up to 10 hours of talktime/100 hours of standby time, per battery charge, making it a perfect choice in the home for hours of leisurely chatting, or in the workplace for reliable, frequent operation. The handsets can also be used to chat in hands-free mode via the Handsfree feature.
The BT Synergy 6500 quad pack can be personalised with 19 polyphonic ringtones or a standard ringtone. The phone is type II caller ID compatible with a calls list and redial list and boasts a large 250 name and number phonebook that can be transferred between the handsets.
This phone includes many other useful features including a backlit display, wallpapers, base ringtones, secrecy function, handset naming, keypad lock, earpiece volume control, handsfree volume control, call timer, alarm, calender, appointments, low battery indicator, low battery alert, out of range indicator, out of range alert.

Style Name:Twin
Setting up is nothing like as easy as the meagre "plug in and go" instructions which come in the box would have you believe. You really have to download the whole 60-plus page PDF file from BT to find out out how to carry out anything but the basic operations. Once this is done, however, the two phones work very well and the handsets have a nice feel to them.

Excellent product. Operating manual is a download and consists of 68 pages which is expensive on ink/paper but is very comprehensive.

Purchased to replace a very old fax/ answer machine where the recordings of incoming messages were getting so poor we could not hear the detail. We found the BT synergy met all our needs. Much smaller and neater. Easy to use, holds a charge for a full working day off the charger.Easy to hear recording of messages. We've not yet uploaded our SIM cards but we have sent SMS messages.

Failed yet again!!

Needs constant charging and keeps dropping calls
