Don't buy this phone. There is clearly a design flaw as so many people are seeing the same problem. BT should have picked this up by now and issued a product recall notice. The issue is that whenever a key is pressed on the handset it switches itself off and on again. This also happens when lifting the handset from the charger or answering a call rendering the phone useless. I bought the 5 handset version and this is happening consistently on 4 of the 5 handsets and intermittently on the fifth. I've had them for about a month. They worked fine for about 2 weeks then the problems started.

A great phone with lots of good features - answer machine, sim card reader, SMS text messaging... BUT one of my 3 handsets just switches OFF if a call is answered - very annoying as the caller thinks you have just dumped them!(then you have to pay to call them back!)
Looking through other websites this is a very common problem and I therefore say I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this product.

Three 'phone handsets placed where you wish without a wiring job, you can easily change location if your needs change. Subscribe to your net work caller display for a preview of the calling number - very handy! Large memory bank of calls made and received, space for directory of regular correspondents. Sim card reader incorporated in the base station allowing down/up load of mobile directory. Text messageing facility if you are registered for caller display. Loads of features and it works well as a telephone too.
