    I bought this after my old land phone died, we were always tripping over wires so we decided to go for cordless. After some reseach we decided on this one, and so far we have found it to be excellent. We have had good reception, very clear, and its really easy to use. It does say on the instructions to leave it charging for 24 hours, which we didn't do, but we did leave it for roughly six hours. The only thing I would say is the ringtone is absolutely dire - otherwise I would have given this a five out of five. Its a good, easy-to-use phone, with nice chunky size buttons and clear reception.

    bought as a cheap second phone and does the job.no thrills and true ringtones are dire.still some way behind mobiles.why?but is easy to use & battery life not bad.call log is unfathomable otherwise o.k.

    This is one of the cheaper cordless phones available - and it shows.

    As other reviewers have noted, the sound quality is terrible, with audible feedback. This can make it very difficult to hear if the person you're talking to is on a mobile with poor reception or similar.

    The display is somewhat basic by modern standards (starburst LCD), and so is not particularly easy to use.

    I also found some of the controls counter-intuitive. For example, when looking though the received calls list, you have to press the address book button to return to the normal display, rather than the 'X' or hang-up buttons.

    To summarise: don't buy this phone!
