A good Dect phone with answer machine for the price.Phone has lot's of great features, the only frustrating thing is that it does not tell you how many messages you have received.

Title says it all really. Not impressed, went for a BT thinking it would be a good make. Charged the phone for 16hours as per instructions, saved phone numbers into the address book. Used it for the first time and after finishing the call the phone froze. Was unable to get a dial tone or use any buttons. Took the batteries out and replaced them and its totally dead.

Edited to add - ok Amazon very quickly sent me a replacement and a couple of months on I'm very happy with it. It works and is simple to use. You don't even need to read the instruction book to work out how to turn answer machine on, delete messages, etc. 2 minor niggles; I'd now rate this item at 4 stars but can't change the original star rating.

With my old phone if I forget to turn the answer machine on I could ring home from work and after 20 rings the answer machine would click on and then STAY on. This phone you can get the machine to click on after 20 rings but it doesn't stay on.

The phone has a feature where you can set different ringtones for different callers in your address book. However it won't work if you don't subscribe to BT caller ID.

I have had this phone for 18 months & I really find it difficult to recommend. The display is periodic, verging on non-existent now. Callers find it very difficult to hear me unless I face south - & the base unit is on my desk.
The ring tone is shrill, which I suppose is a good thing for callers as they are sure to be answered within 3 rings.
If you are thinking about getting this one, I'd be seriously tempted to think again. It's the second BT branded phone that I've had & I will not be repeating the experience. They only last for a short period & then just fade away.
