Product Description
This adaptor is used on the end of a BT telephone line connection cable
to allow it to plug into an RJ11 socket. This is useful for dial-up
modems or other RJ11 devices, and prevents the need to purchase a
replacement cable.
This adaptor is very easy to use. You just plug the adaptor onto the
ends of each cable/socket, and your computer is ready to access the
internet via dial-up connection.
Please note: These are new items, but some are slightly scratched /
worn as they are old stock.

The adapter arrived by the promised date and it works as expected. I am now able to use a BT phone in India without issues.
My BT phone has an RJ11 socket. However, a standard RJ11 cable wouldn't work since the pins on the RJ11 used in the BT phone are different from the standard RJ11 (2-3 vs 4-5). My ideal solution would have been to get a crossover cable, but I couldn't find it anywhere. So I have a BT cable from the phone and this adapter.

No issues. Arrived in perfect condition.
No idea whether this actually works on a plane (yet). For 75 pence I was surprised to see it arrive in my post box properly packaged and in good condition.

value for money
I have a modem which I used while in US. It takes in the standard RJ 11 cable. On coming over to Uk, I tried finding a convertor at various local stores but without success. Read more
