The BT Response 75 plus is a digital answering machine that records up to 50 minutes of messages. Arrived promptly.
Very easy to fit as it replaced a similar BT Answer Machine that I have had for about 40 years.
The old machine gave up when the tape twisted, so I thought I would 'retire' it and replace it with a younger model.
The new machine is digital and technology has improved the design and flexibility of the new model significantly. It has many more facilities than the old model, many of which I probably will not use. However they are availible should you need them.
Despite reading some negative reviews, I purchased the product and I am very pleased with it.
For anyone looking for a stand alone answer machine, look no further.

I bought this product based on it getting decent but not universally good reviews. It seems I should have paid more attention to the less enthusiastic ones.
Once I had the machine and had downloaded the full manual, which doesn't come with the machine I was able to set all the user defined options and on first appearance it did all I wanted it to do. I set the following: -
*turned the 1471 feature off
*turned the message waiting beep off
*set the date and time
*set it to answer on 9 rings
*recorded my own Outgoing Message
All seemed well until next day it had reverted to default and forgotten the date and time. Well at first you think maybe I inadvertently disconnected the power and set it all again but no, within another 24 hours its reverted back to default. This may suggest a power supply issue where its plugged in but its in the same conditioned, filtered and protected supply my PC is one which hasn't seen any power problems.
In addition to all of the above if it starts answering but you then answer the phone its supposed to stop recording but it doesn't
I am very dissapointed with this unit and have returned it for a refund.

Amazon Verified Purchase
It arrived quickly and was reasonably easy to set up. But it is infuriating that it only comes with what it calls a "User Guide" but what is in effect only a quick setup guide. To get the full instructions, which are essential to anything but the simplest operation, you have to download them. It is a good product and does most of what it says but it does NOT announce the time and day of receipt of messages which is one of the things it claims. This may be a fault in the machine but, since there is NO customer support for the product that I can find anywhere, there is no way of finding out. As so often with BT, the backup/support is hopeless.

Not Bad a Tool.
It does what it says on the box. a little soft on the replay. otherwise I am ahppy with it at this moment in time. Time will tell how long it works well.....
