This phone is excellent; it has many of the features of a quality mobile phone. I particularly like the "missed calls" function where the screen lights up to warn you of any missed calls. Also any information put into the phone automatically appears on any subsidiary phone associated with the BT Router. Another strong advantage is the white on black script; easy to see, especially if your sight is impaired.
My only criticism is that the ringing tones, even on full volume, are not loud enough.

This is a great phone if you have the BT Hub 2.0. However please note: it is NOT COMPATIBLE with new new BT HUB 3.

Having changed our broadband supplier to BT Hub, it seemed sensible to take advantage of the reduced costs of internet calls, particularly as we call the USA quite often, and therefore we ordered a BT Hub phone 2.1 in black. It arrived promptly and fits snugly in a 'nest' at the front of the hub.
Installation and getting going with it was simplicity itself and the first thing noticed was it's smart, neat design and clear, bright display. The whole appearance of the hub and phone together is very pleasing to the eye.
Whether the phone has all the 'bells and buzzers' provided by modern technology I wouldn't necessarily know as we only require the basics from it, but I would imagine so. Our requirements were only for trouble free, easy to make cheaper internet calls, with storage for our regular telephone numbers, and a hands free loudspeaker facility, and in all these respects it is perfect for our needs.
