    I bought one of these as a replacement for our old answering machine. I set it all up and then discovered that it does not play back the last two or three seconds of messages that it records. This may not sound much, but it is often when people give their number for you to ring them back. I excahanged the unit, thinking it must be faulty, but the new one has exactly the same problem.

    The answering machine worked fine on my set, records the whole length of any incoming messages (including the last 3 seconds...).

    Having bought BT thinking that it would be a quality product, I am very dissapointed with the recording of messages. At least 50% of messages left on the machine are uninteligble due to the poor quality of the recording/playback.
