    In many respects this is a very nice product. However, it has one highly significant flaw.

    Long before it reaches the maximum usable range it starts beeping at you to tell you that the signal strength is low. This comes as the form of random beeps during an active call which are very distracting.

    There is no way to switch this BEEP off!

    I had an older set of BT DECT phones that worked just fine for a number of years before I swapped them out in favour of these new phones. The old BT DECT phones worked fine, these new Graphite 1100 handsets BEEP at you during the call making it impossible to carry on a conversation.

    Don't buy unless you are going to keep the handsets close to the base station.

    I also had trouble with the beeping which is supposed to indicate it was out of range, even if it was in the room next to the transmitter

    I purchased these phones as the sound quality of my existing cordless phones was bad. These work very well and the speech quality is very clear. A useful feature is a button on the master unit that makes all the handsets emit a loud tone, this is handy if you can't find a handset because it's under the sofa etc.
