I read the review by A.E. Hames warning of problems with this handset but I decided to order it anyway. What a mistake!
The handsets arrived and looked very nice. They fit in the hand nicely, were not to bulky, the keys lit up well and the screen was easy to read.
BUT!!
The keys that initially looked great are actually designed in such a way as to make them quite awkward to use.
Then within days the second handset developed a fault. The number 1 key would stick so after pressing it you would get random 1's dialed, either preventing you dialling the correct number or interupting your call.
The Enhanced Audio Quality is a joke. There was a noticeable buzzing and the call quality was worse than a five year old Binatone phone that I paid £30 for. Quite often I couldn't make out what the caller was saying, as if they had a bad mobile signal, except they were on a landline.
When I called the vendor to return it he recommended a Panasonic set. I was able to get a triple handset unit with much better features for only £19 more.
Don't waste your money on this!
