Poor life expectancy 13 Jun 2008
This phone looks good upon first use, but does not last. BT quality has gone downhill and their phones barely last beyond a year. I have had two go faulty after about 13 months and BT refuse to accept that it is a sign of poor quality - try a different brand.

Let Down 12 Jan 2009

I really like the design of this phone and when the first one I bought broke I purchased another one. This lasted about six months with the same sort of problems. People would call me and I would not be able to hear them. The volume kept fading, which meant that dialling did not always work. When the phone worked it was great, but I can't afford to carry on buying a new phone every few months.

I bought two of these, one to plug in upstairs, and one downstairs. Both only had light use because we also have a portable phone system.
On one some of the numbers on the keypad stopped working properly so we kept misdialling. On the other, callers could not hear us.

BT would not repair or replace. These are cheap rubbish.

I will never, ever buy another BT product again.

So-so, some annoyances but easy on the eye
After several years of moderate use, our Decor 1300 is still working without a problem. It's not bad but the biggest niggles for us are its voracious appetite for AA batteries, and... Read more

The usual B.T. rubbish unfortunately..
As with so many of BT phones these days, this item does not last very long. Other reviews I've read echo my experience. Read more

Poor quality
Gets through batteries, even with low usage. The number keys don't feel very good when pressed - there isn't a reliable feeling to confirm that you have pressed the key, so... Read more

It does what I needed
The telephone arrived safely and in good condition. It doesn't require charging or a complicated set-up so it's good for me. Read more

Good features, doesn't last
You get a good range of features for your money. However, mine now works as a telephone but the answer phone function doesn't work; probably better to spend a bit more and get... Read more

Good phone
Does what its supposed to, good range of ring tones. To be critical, the stand should be angled more as display difficult to see when sat on desk. Good though.

Poor quality
The number keys often don't work so it's easy to mis-dial a number. Don't buy this phone, it's rubbish.
