Ok I have been using this product for a few years now, and it works. I train at either 6.30am or 2pm in the afternoon, both times make it somewhat difficult to focus. I take a small teaspoon, either as a shot OR in a cup of water OR in about 750ml of water (that I drink throughout the workout).

I use for strength workouts, cardio (bike, running and swimming), and athletic workouts, and it seems to make a difference every time. I just feel sharper, more alert and motivated.

Here's what happens. It genuinely takes about 20-30 minutes to kick in on an empty stomach, so if I'm doing a cardio session I take as early as possible, either on my journey to work or just before I get changed, change+ a warm up usually finds things starting to sharpen. I use it for focus and concentration, rather than a muscle pump, because this will happen through good technique and execution.

I've had friends who have done the full scoop and more, I can't as I am more sensitive to the chemicals and feel nauseous and get headaches. So I just use less. I train in a group of guys and we all do a similar thing, a small teaspoon in a cup of water; one of us always takes more than the recommended dosages and he states that it doesn't effect him, I've seen him take 2 scoops, not for me. I also come off it regularly so I might do a few weeks on and a few weeks off, cycling so my body doesn't get used to relying on stimulants. Sure those workouts without definitely feel much harder, but I want to know which is my effort and which are chemical enhancements.

I bought this produce specifically. Fruit punch is ok, lemon used to taste like goats bile (imagined taste, not an experience!), but the lemonade isn't bad. The blue raspberry tastes vile.

Now here's my only gripe.

I initially took one scoop (a serving) which made no difference to my workout. Then I bumped it up to two which only led to me having a tiny tingly sensation for about 10 or 15 mins. However I do drink cappuccino on most days, but I think having taking two scoops I should have seen some improvements. I'll try and pre-workout next time.

PS I also tried drinking coffee with this since it had no caffeine, still no improvement.

I used ON's Preload Creatine before this, but never other pre-workout supps because they always have caffeine in them. I work out after 4-5:00 and this stuff gives me great pumps, good energy, and I feel great after the workout still. I can also get to sleep at night like I'm supposed to. Those other stimulant filled supplements will have you so "jacked" that you won't be able to go to sleep or want to puke. When I cycle off of it for several weeks (because of the creatine), I can tell a difference. I make good gains in strength while taking it for about 6-8 weeks. The only other caffeine free supp is Optimum Nutrition's preload creatine and it's very simple. I would say N.O.E. is better than O.N.'s. I have had the blue raspberry and the punch, and the punch IMO tastes better.

I don't do well with caffeine, so in looking for a preworkout booster, I was limited in the options to try. This was the first one I went for, as it's big brother with caffeine is very popular. The taste: I am pretty picky and can't say I love it, but it's not bad at all either. With a couple ice cubes mixed in to get it cold, it's much better, and I typically slam it pretty fast...like any health drink. The effects: in 45 mins to an hour I start to notice the effects of the beta-alanine..tingling etc..and then I will start to work out. I notice that I can typically do a few more reps per set with the booster compared to without, but not many more. The best way I can describe it is that when I reach the point where I'd normally start to really feel it burn and think muscle failure was near, that feeling is muted with the booster. I do not recommend this or any other preworkout booster before doing cardio...but for resistance/weight training, I really prefer to have it rather than not...a nice boost as advertised.

Been using this product for about a month now, going to the gym almost 5 days a week, I do one scoop on days I work out only. Definitely seeing results already, muscles growing, strength increasing, more endurance and quick recovery. It does work best on an empty stomach, took after breakfast a few times and you dont feel it as well.
I seen peoples reviews about liver issues, I haven't had any problems so far. It does say to drink about a gallon (120oz specifically) of water a day, my only guess is that people aren't following directions?
Only downside is the flavor, NO-Xplode has always been rough to my tastes, even the fruit punch (but it is the best I've tried).
I've recently started doing 1/2 scoop of this and 1/2 scoop of MusclePharm Assault fruit punch, recommended in a fitness magazine about sups, and combined it is incredible. Better flavor, MORE energy, endurance, and recovery than just NO-Xplode alone. Try it for yourself, just remember to stay hydrated, they both recommend drinking A LOT of water when you use it.
