Format: Paperback
This is the perfect pocket reference guide for people wanting to understand wartime military structures, found throughout the United Kingdom. The author provides a clear and concise list of all the known types of defensive structures through both diagrams and photographs of surviving examples, that are still found in our countryside today.

Each wartime structure is typologically sequenced throughout the booklet, providing brief design history and phase of build and description, during the war.

This is a must buy for anyone interested in viewing and understanding our wartime pillboxes and other strange concrete structures, still found in the British countryside, today.
