My son recieved this trainset as a Christmas gift.
It is Great! Daddy usually takes over and then he struggles to get a look in!

This train is great! It is the favourite toy of our 20 month old daughter. The train tracks are fun for her to put together. They give her a bit of a challenge without her getting too frustrated. The train seems pretty sturdy. She can turn it on and off herself. The cars attach to the main locomotive via a magnet. So again she needed to figure out that the cars can only face in 1 direction to attach to each other. The train does not only 'drive', it also has a light at the front which is a nice touch for light obsessed children. The tunnel is a sweet accessory. All in all it's the perfect first train. For adults it's far more attractive than some of the plastic models. We've enjoyed setting up various challenging tracks as well.

This has been a brilliant purchase for my now two and a half year old. We have had the set for about 6 months and we are now looking to extend the track as she is getting more adventurous and the train keeps being sent under the settee!!! The battery operated train is powerful and pulls a further three carriages, in addition to the three carriages within the set, without any problem at all. I would recommend this set to every parent.

Not much Battery Pwoer

Train is great, mountain is rubbish
Bought this for my son's 3rd birthday as a basic set which we then enhanced with a couple of expansion packs and other bits and bobs from Amazon and eBay. Read more

Ace gift for a 17 mo old
Gave this to my daughter for Christmas. It was supposed to be for 18 mo and up. She's not only picked up how to turn it on and watch it roll, but she evens says choo choo!
