This item is BRIO 33761 Wooden Railway System: Smart Track Engine and Tracks by Brio. Build an interactive layout! This 'Smart' Engine receives signals from special pieces of track which makes it stop start sound it's horn etc.
The starter kit includes 1x Smart Engine 2x Signs and 2 different pieces of smart track one piece makes the train stop with a braking noise and the other makes the train honk it's realistic horn. Dimensions of train 132mm x 51mm each piece of track 110mm. Batteries included!!

Bought this train when it first came out and it has proved to be an excellent investment. Each time they bring out a new item in the SmartTrack range, the train goes straight back to the top of the list of favourite toys.We bought the engine shed and reversing tracks for Christmas and had Brio track all over the floor while the train trundled around, back and forth between station and engine shed. Definitely a good buy if you have boys who love trains.

i bought this for my son 3 weeks back and he has not stopped playing with it since. its great for learning hand and eye co ordination.it just makes a great edition to his train set .

This is an excellent toy when it is working well. My son absolutely loved this, but unfortunately the train broke after only a few weeks use. I tried repeatedly to get a refund/replacement but received no after-sales service with Brio (very surprising for such a reputable company) and the supplier was unable to help. Eventually a kind relative took pity and replaced it witha new set for my son, only for the train to develop exactly the same fault again after just a few weeks use. I should point out that my son is 4 and not heavy-handed with his toys. Given the price and the quality you would expect from Brio, this is an extrememly disappointing toy. I would definitely NOT recommend.
