The traditional wooden railway is the best type for fun and durability. Even very young children can put it together and the pieces don`t warp like plastic tracks. A perrenial favourite which my older children still love to play with. will be passed down through generations. It becomes more attractive with age and handling. Overall an excellent toy.

I have a Brio train set that I keep for my grandkids when they visit but I mainly have bends, hardly any straight pieces. Does anyone know where I could buy just straight pieces?

I purchased this for my two-year old great-grandson to go with the BRIO Beginner's Train Set. He plays with it all the time. It is a wonderful toy to help develope a child's imagination.

If you're looking for some curves and straight track for your layout, then be sure to grab this set. It has the combination of both and is a quick way to build in a hurry. And, when you're 3 and 4, EVERYTHING has to be fast so don't forget this!
