I purchased the battery because I never want to be in the position where I can't take any more photos because of the battery running out. I now carry a fully charged spare around in my camera case knowing that I am no longer limited to battery life. Although the price of the battery is much less than a Canon one its capacity and everything else about it is equally as good.

How do you review a battery? This battery works perfectly well in my Canon SX220 camera. It is one of three I have as an insurance against not being able to recharge one while on holiday. I take about 5000 yes 5000 photos on a two week holiday and have never had to start a third battery on any day. Each battery gets used but I don't number the batteries to rotate their use. It is not surprising that after only 6 months none of the batteries have started to bulge and become difficult to remove from the camera when discharged. (This has happened with batteries for my wife's camera - a different make). The batteries charge in about an hour and I am not dissappointed with the use I get from a full charge. Good product - but not a scientific test.

I have just bought the Li-ion battery from this company via Amazon. Charged it and used it. So far it was not giving me any problems. The battery fits in properly with the canon charger and the camera itself. It delivers what it is supposed to do. It still says 3.7V 1120mAh so far so good. Anyway it was made in the "same" country.

Just as good as the canon battery
Was unsure whether or not i needed to keep to the same make (canon) but the price was so good! It works perfectly and charges fine.

Superb Value, Performance and Service
These batteries ( I was so impressed with the first I bought a second) are very much cheaper than that supplied with my Canon camera but I have found them to be just as good. Read more
