It's a good tool, but it doesn't really work on smooth things smaller than about 12mm diameter, unlike the blurb which says it'll be useful down to 6mm.
Having said that, I wouldn't have got the job done without it.

This is a wonderful help for anyone who has difficulty opening bottles or jars etc.
I have had one for years, wouldn't be without it, and bought this one for my daughter who has arthritis and a recently fractured wrist. It is very versatile and fits any size of top.

Bought due to leaking tap and wanting to remove the cover to change the washer - didn't manage to loosen it in slightest - but this might be cos it's simply stuck past having not been looked at for about ten years.
I'm sure it does a good job on more modern appliances, but if your appliance is seized - it may not do the trick.

makes life easier
I have tried many devices to remove lids from jars and tops from bottles and they have been pretty good, but I find this works more easily. Read more

Keeps slipping
