An excellent book, which covers all the major topics of this exciting sport! Contains a wealth of useful information for the new rider through to the old-timer. Well presented, with clear photos and diagrams - a must for anyone seeking extreme action!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a definitive history of this great sport, 4 May 2003
I had searched fruitlessly for years trying to find a decent book on the history of BMX-ing. Well finally we have one! This is a well-written dictionary of BMXing written by one of the guys on the scene at the time.
Particularly interesting are some of the anecdotes about pro-bmx king of the early 80's - Joe 'Steel Wheelz' Deacon.
If you are interested in all things BMX then this book is an invaluable addition to your collection.
It is also interesting to note that the author (Job) went on to become one of britains most successful body-builders
