A big problem with this very nice player is fingerprints: in no time at all it looks like you've just eaten a full English breakfast off the screen. Here is the answer in one: a rubbery skin and a screen protector for less than the skin alone costs elsewhere. The screen protector is arguably half a millimetre too wide but no matter - it needs to be larger than the hole in the skin. It does make the player a fraction more bulky which you may not like if you really wished you'd got one of the ultra-thin players, but the buttons are barely harder to operate, and there are holes accurately in all the right places for connectors, SDCard slot, and even mic and reset hole.
In short, a great improvement on the clingfilm I'd been using to keep the fingerprints under control.

Was slightly disappointed with its cheap looks considering how smart the player looks itself but then with the screen protectors, it does keep my Zen fully covered protecting it from coins, keys etc in my pockets. The slots for the headphones, SD cards and power switch all line up nicely and there is a handy, secure buckle clip (for those who really want to show it off to the local scally who wouldn't mind one himself)! So if your looking to fully protect your Zen this will do the job nicely.

Okay, so it doesn't look quite as sexy as the player itself - but its a cover!
I really like this product. Fits well (including all holes/buttons) being easily accessible.
If I had to pick holes I would say that already (only had it a week!) the fabric seems to pick up dust from pockets really easily, and can look a bit crappy.
However, having also bought an arm strap AND the fact that the dust does easily wipe off, I would still buy this again. Less bulky than leather cases, and more protective (have already dropped on tile floor! - no problem!)
Very solid belt clip, and paired with a decent armstrap this is perfect for the running/gym.

I thought long and hard about which case to buy for my Zen. It does need one, the screen is very vulnerable. I eventually came down to this one and I have no reason to think it was a mistake. A case must protect the unit from bad weather, bumps, scratches etc all the while being fully functional inside it. This case fits all those criteria.
It's snug fitting rubber which matches up perfectly with all the USB / headphones / power on / SD slot etc. The buttons are perfectly responsive under the rubber too. The tighter fitting, the less space it has to move, the more shock the rubber dissipates while keeping the unit inside undamaged.
Some people think it makes the Zen look tacky, I look at it differently. It's designed to be used outdoors, often in low light conditions like huddling under a street lamp waiting for a bus. Having the bold icons makes it easier to see them.
The screen protector does require patience to fit properly and it is more or less a one-shot-deal. It is a little larger than the screen but that's so the edges fit under the rubber case providing better protection against the rain. The clip feels decent too, and considering the weight of any mp3 player is negligible it should last forever, barring any strain like someone pulling at it too often.
In short, this is a fantastic case which others may not have seen the reasoning to some of the design choices. It's much better and cheaper than the official Creative cases.

Really liked the look of the Zen mp3 player, but having scratched the scren inside of couple of days, I decided that this was needed. Both the screen protector and the the silicone case are great, easy to apply and a good fit. Was initially a bit worried about the case covering the controls, but they work just fine. Delivery was really quick and the whole thing looks a lot better than the case I since got for my phone...

This is a great add on to a super wee device. I travel a lot and throw the player into my bag with all my other stuff. The cover provides great protection from bumps and scuffs and still manages to look cool !!!

This item protects the Zen nicely, ports and buttons line up well.
There is a lot of flex in the rubber where the belt clip attaches, personally I would not trust this with my beloved Zen.
If the belt clip is not a priority I would recommend this purchase.

Ordered late Sunday evening, went for the 'slow' delivery option and it arrived early Tuesday morning, less than 36 hours later. Skin gives good protection and along with the screen protector I feel a lot happier that my Zen is now protected from the knocks of everyday life. Excellent value for money.
