Fun:
This is actually a follow up to last years Squadra Corse Alfa Romeo, from the same Developers; Milestone.
The same principles apply, you race small championships to win enough bonus points and get attributes to add to your driver, to make your driving experience easier, skills such as slipstreaming, aggression, confidence etc, the game is novel in that it isn't the cars that are upgraded but your own abilities as a driver.
The graphics are very good on the PC version demo I played, and the game runs quite easily on my 5 year old PC, the game has about half a dozen well known World Race tracks, and half a dozen fantasy tracks, the driving experience on the PC version, to be honest is a little bland, there is nothing new here than what I've seen a hundred times on other PC racers, the console version must surely be better for handling and gameplay, in their last effort for Squadra Corse Alfa Romeo on the Xbox, the handling was superb, so going off that I'd say the PS2 version is the best choice for this new game, there doesn't seem to be an Xbox version this time round.
All in all, if you liked SCAR, then this is more of the same.

Nice graphics, cars etc.. but lacks imagination and a proper multiplayer mode (split screen only).
