As a great fan of all of Jackie Collins Novels, in particular the Santangelo epics I found this book to be written in a slightly different style to the usual writings of this great Author! 'The Bitch' is the sequel to 'The Stud' following the progression of one of the main characters from this previous book Fontaine Khaled, it shows a twist in fate of this rich once sucessful wife of an Arab millionaire. Jackie Collins leaves the reader in suspense as to whether Leopards really do change there spots and as usual she leaves the reader wanting much much more

Another Trashy Novel by the Queen of Trash

THE BITCH is the story of two characters: Nico Constantine who married into wealth at a young age, and Fontaine Al Khaled, who also married into wealth. Both of them are single by the time they meet accidentally on an airplane. Instant attaction....
The novel of course has several subplots weaving in and out, with lots of gratuitous sex and outrageous plot twists. But that's expected from a Jackie Collins novel. Nico finds he's dead broke and spends the rest of the novel trying to get himself out of this mess (big time gambling debt). Fontaine in the meantime is trying to rejuvenate her London night club, while at the same time ignores all advances from Nico, although deep down she is very attracted to him.
For a quick light read and some trashy writing, THE BITCH is recommended.

Classic Collins!

Jackie Collins has had such an extraordinary career, delivering novel after novel packed full of page turning, pure escapism. With longevity such as hers, I am always interested to peruse the back catalogue to see how an author has developed over the years. The Bitch is a great example of where JC began in her early career, creating provocative characters, outrageous story lines and page turning entertainment. She is dedicated to her loyal fan base and I love that she is self publishing this book at a great price, reminding all her fans how long she has been playing this game, how hard she has worked and how her style has developed over the years. She is still so relevant, having paved the way for so many other female writers in this genre... Jackie was writing steamy sex scenes long before Fifty Shades of Grey, and her story lines are fun and fabulous and the heroines in her novels are gutsy and strong. If you are new to JC jump in at the 80's - Chances or Hollywood Wives - you won't be disappointed, and then move on to all The Santangelo books. But loyal fans cannot go wrong with The Bitch... it's vintage Collins and she's the best!
