These ear plugs are incredible at blocking out sounds such as music playing in adjacent rooms to where you are trying to get a good nights sleep. Another review stated that this product did not work because her fingers got stuck in the material... I have not found this once so hopefully it was just a problem with that particular set. I myself have purchased several sets (they do run out after a while) and find them to be well worth the money, although they are expensive for ear plugs! Hope this helps :)

These are quite simply the best earplugs I have ever tried.

I always use earplugs when camping and staying in hotels/other places away from home. I have tried the foam ones which are rolled and inserted in the ear canal, and whilst these are ok they can't compete with Bioears.

A pair usually lasts me for a weeks worth of camping and each night they only need to be kneeded until soft to form a great sound proof seal.

They are much more comfortable than the foam type and more effective at blocking out sounds - what more could you ask for in an earplug!

This may all sound a bit over excited but having spent many a sleepless night camping/staying in hotels I am sure you will understand my enthusiasm!

From the blurb on the packet, these earplugs sound great, as not only do they claim to be antibacterial, they are also supposed to cover the entrance to the ear canal and form a tight seal, thus reducing noise, instead of being inserted into the ear canal like all other earplugs I've tried, which can sometimes be painful. Having used the conventional foam earplugs before to block out the noise of my husband's snoring with various levels of success, I decided to give Bioears a go when I saw them in Boots as they sounded more efficient and hygienic. Bioears are sticky, and you are supposed to roll them into a ball and then press this over, not into, the ear canal to make a tight seal with the surrounding skin. The problem I found was that, having pressed tightly enough to get this good seal, my finger tips were stuck to the plugs and it was impossible to pull my fingers away without also pulling the plug away from the ear and breaking the seal. Thus ensued a sleepless night! They are easily the worst earplugs I have tried. I have just returned them to Boots in exchange for a selection of more traditional foam and wax earplugs.
