It is SO easy to use, simply open the lid, pour 1/4L of water into the spout and place straight on the hob (any hob type including induction). Soon, the water inside the walls of the pan will boil and you can then safely cook food without risk of burning it or boil-overs. It works on the principal of the waterbath where the water inside the walls of the pan is boiling but the temperature inside the bowl never rises above approx 96c, making it perfect for melting chocolate, heating milk, defrosting, re-heating baby food and MUCH more!
And because it stays at 96c this is sufficient to sterilize, cook and prepare delicate dishes that musn't be allowed to reach boiling point.
