In his book, Stephen J McAuliffe has managed to encapsulate everything that one might feel but either cannot put into words -are frightened to face up to - or do not want to admit to.

Wonderfully refreshing, humorous and also chilling I found this book stayed with me long after reading it, particularly the imagery and the messages.

It manages to cut away all the brainwashing we unwittingly are exposed to by politicians and the media and shows the world we now live in with simplicity and candour.

The main thing I love about this book is that it written with sympathy, compassion and a wry sense of humour. Well done!

Found 'Behold The Cosmic Wave' to be a proper page turner, reading it over just a few days. It read kind of like a more up to date (short period into future even!) Robert Anton Wilson's 'Illuminatus Trilogy' and i loved that this set in the UK. Very funny as well as thought inspiring, having to pause between many chapters to follow the trains of thought / contemplation of posssible realities that it cosmic triggered. Great novel - consciousness / conspiracy classic of our interesting times i highly recommend.

I was recommended this book to read by a friend and thoroughly enjoyed every page. This book is extremely funny, interesting and takes a real sideways look at life. There are so few books out there like this at the moment - my view is, like many other things in life, books are starting to, in the main, follow a formula and you feel like you have come across the story lines many times before; and you cannot move for crime thrillers! For me this book should get cult status and should be placed alongside 'The Dice Man' and 'The Third Policeman'. A plea to the author - please write another novel soon. I am off to recommend this book to as many people as I can.
