In BCV you must turn some of the toughest construction vehicles on the planet into smouldering piles of scrap metal. Your objective? This game is like a cross between Robot Wars and Tekken (or Destrega if anyone played it on the PS1?) where you control giant cranes and diggers in a large arena where you fight each other.
Sadly you have about 3 attacks each, one that goes straight ahead and one that goes from the left/right side and a special attack that I still have no idea how to set it off but it works at random. The cranes are clumsy to navigate and the graphics are not wowing by any means. The AI is a bit random too, sometimes they just sit there and sometimes they give you a challenge. The story mode is random and stupid but always entertaining by just being silly and that's where you unlock all the characters in the 2 player mode and that's where the entertainment comes into play. Because the attacks are limited and the cranes are clumsy it's a lot harder to hit anyone and gain an advantage. Yet for all its bashing and bad judgement there's something about it that made me complete the story mode in one sitting and want to play it with others even though it's really not that good. It's got the just one more element and for that it needs to be applauded.

When i bought this game i had no idea i would spend over 57 hours on it in just 1 week. what and amazing game i think this is a must have for all ps2 addicts. I can't wait for a sequel and am waiting avidly for its arrival, a brilliant game all round kudos sony. i love it.
