The Air Raider AH10-4 is another of BCEs 5ft air hockey tables. This table has a fantastic Air Raider surface logo and wooden veneer cabinet for a great retro look. The table comes with a 240v fan motor allowing air to flow through the tiny holes in the surface floating the puck. A typical air hockey table consists of a large smooth playing surface, a surrounding rail to prevent the puck and mallets from leaving the table and have slots in the rail at either end of the table that serve as goals. A fan is attached to the underside of the table and this produces a cushion of air on the play surface through tiny holes, with the purpose of reducing friction and increasing play speed. The puck will then float on the cushion of air. The object of the game is to score goals in to your opponents goal.
