This is the first underwater camera that has impressed us on both the important factors when buying a camera like this; price and quality. The price tag is affordable and unlike other underwater cameras at similar prices, this one actually does a terrific job. It is very easy to use, and the 5 Megapixel resolution is great. As well as stills it shoots video at 18-20 frames per second, and will take SD cards up to 2GB which will give you about 65 minutes of recording time. The AV cable lets you play your movies and pictures straight onto the TV, the waterproof housing is safe down to at least 15 metres, and of course you can take it out of its case and use it as a regular digicam. You can even connect it up to use as a webcam. It runs off simply two AAA batteries, which means that you can just carry spares for when you're on the go. All in all this is the first underwater digital camera to get the thumbs-up!
