3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected 6 Aug 2013

Like another reviewer, I looked at the listing which read "Sky at Night Magazine", costing 0.00. Whoa! Must be some kind of promotion! Or maybe some kind of BBC public service? I've bought the paper mag before and found it rather lightweight (two or three decent articles padded out with lots of glossy ads for expensive dude-telescopes), but at that price who could argue? Imagine my disappointment when I discover that it isn't the magazine at all, it's just some superfluous app to advertise and download the electronic form of the magazine, each issue of which is very far from free, more like 4 a shot. No thanks!

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid 6 April 2013

App allows easy access to new issues and back issues. Decent portal to purchase magazines. Would be 5 stars if there was a purchased/unpurchased filter. Magazine looks good, well formatted for tablet.

I thought I was downloading a sky at night magazine. At least thats what the advert said. So imagine my surprise when I opened the app to find a bookshelf with sky at night magazines I can buy for 3.89 each!

Absolutely pointless garbage.
